The prostate is the most well known and important organ in the body. The prostate is part of the reproductive system. When a man has sexual intercourse, it becomes a "sperm factory" that produces semen for ejaculation of semen. (A lot of this is related to our sex drive, but I will get to that later.) The prostate produces and secretes a large amount of fluid that is important to the functioning of the female reproductive system.
If you have a very low testosterone level, the prostate gland may not be able to adequately regulate the fluid in the ejaculatory system and you may experience symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED). The best way to test your prostate is to have your partner masturbate.
The good news is that there is an effective treatment for low testosterone levels in the prostate and that is testosterone blockers, which prevent the testosterone from being sent through the body into the bloodstream.
However, they don't seem to work for everyone, and you may want to consider something else. I would not recommend testosterone blockers for everyone, since not everyone has low testosterone levels. If you feel the need, then a medication called flutamide, which blocks testosterone from binding to the receptors in the brain that makes it go into the bloodstream, can be helpful in decreasing or eliminating erectile dysfunction.
